My husband and I recently found out we are expecting again in September and we are both VERY happy but also very nervous. We lost our sweet Ashlynn to a genetic disorder (Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease) and we face a 25% of the disease in each pregnancy. We had the first ultrasound and the dr. said all looked good so far. We are scheduled for a CVS test on November 6 and should receive the results by Thanksgiving. I was just wondering if anyone had ever had the same test done or if they had to endure the long wait for results? I had such a feeling of peace and happiness when I found but as the test day approaches I can feel the stress mounting. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated...

PS. THE BABY IS DUE MAY 30, 2009 :)

Jeanna, Congratulations !!!! I have not ever experienced this but I am sure you cannot help but be nervous. I will keep you and your new little one in my prayers

Don't know much about that test, but I do know the anxiety of being pregnant again! I am 32 weeks, due in December! Prayers for you and a healthy baby!! Keep us posted!

Congrats on the new bundle. This is a scary road to be traveling but we will be here for every joyous and anxiety causing moment you experience. I will be praying that there is more joy in this pregnancy. Good luck.
