Passing the word along

When our daughter died, the wonderful nurses captured many photos of us with Anna in the nursery...granted many of them were of me crying and hanging my head, but they also got photos when one of the nurses was baptizing Anna in my arms. We did not know about NILMDTS otherwise I may have requested someone to come to the hospital. I believe that this organization is amazing and only wish that we had this offered to us. I actually learned about it when I was with the neonatalogist going over Anna's autopsy report. I am not sure how many photographers there are affiliated with NILMDTS in Minnesota but yesterday I dropped a note in the mail to my OB and told him about it, hoping that he will spread the word in the event other families in the Minneapolis area find themselves in this situation....

Thank you so much for helping us spread the word. You would be surprised at how many families we serve because someone like yourself took the time to send a little note.
Tammy Becker (She is a member of this forum) also, helps train parents who want to help our mission grow. She is one of our parent liaisons. She sends letters of introduction to hospitals, doctors and people in the medical field. She also sends out many press releases and letters to recruit additional photographers. If any of you are interested in helping us we would love to work with you. I know that our most powerful resource is a parents testimonial.
