Well, it is with heavy heart that I write this to all of you.
Nearly one year ago, some friends of ours found out that their son who was due to be born in March 2009 had lots of problems. He was not expected to make it to term or for any time afterward.
As a result they were told about an amazing organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep who would take maternity photographs for them as well as be present at the birth.
Well, little James defied the odds. He was born on March 5, 2009. And to everyone, including all the doctors', surprise he lived! He lived for over 9 wonderful, amazing months.
I was told this morning that little James went home to be with God. I know that our babies welcomed him with open arms, and I am sure they are celebrating his arrival. On my way to work today I saw a huge flock of geese flying with one goose about 50 feet in front of the rest of them. It made me think about Carter leading all of his friends so they could go play with James.
It is because of James that I knew about NILMDTS when we lost Carter. Without him, I don't know that we would have the blessing of photographs that we do have of Carter.
Thank you James!
Here is their blog if you would like to read all about him: http://www.babyjellybeans.com/web/do/site/home?ID=460051
