As you all may know by know that im expected to deliver yet again another still born some time in feburary of begging of march.. i did the responsible thing by contacting the photographer who touched up my sons phots when i had him. He was away on vacation and he sent me an email back stating he cant take photos of my new baby b/c he she will be under 25 weeks gestation and to have the hospital call him once i had the baby. im soo furious and ready to give up all hope.. how can this be true and the rules??? There are plenty of babies who had there pics taken who were not 25 weeks....... i just want some great pics that i can treasure for the rest of my life with out the hassel.. i dont own a digital camera and the pics the nurses take are good but they come out fuzzy. i am so ready for a nervous break down and i dont give to craps less:mad: :mad: :mad:

I'm so sorry you're facing even more frustrating things to deal with :( The 25 week gestation mark is a guideline only and yes, many sessions have been done with babies much younger. It ends up being at the discretion of the photographer and depends on many things like condition of the baby and photographer availability. Our mission is to provide comforting photos and the 25 week guideline was designed around that. However, I'm sure that there might be another photographer in your area that would be more than willing to take the photos for you. I am sorry. Having pictures of your little one is something special to each mom's heart and not having the same person to be able to take these is frustrating. I hope that you can figure out something with another NILMDTS photographer. Maybe the photographer had a loss before 25 weeks and is uncomfortable with doing that also. You never know if they are going off guildelines and more. What state do you live in?
