I had the misfortunte of becoming a part of the NILMDTS family in December. The pictures we received from our photographer were absolutely beautiful.

We have a 5 year old daughter that we did not bring to the hospital to hold her brother. We felt this would have been way too much for any 5 year old (or as my therapist put it ... we saved her from teller a therapist about it 30 years from now). But the pictures allowed us to show her what her brother looked like. That he was real.

I am very grateful to our NILMDTS photographer and all of you who dedicate your time and talents to help those of us who feel like our worlds have just been torn apart.

Our daughter was 20 months old when we lost Carter and we too chose to not have her at the hospital. She sees pictures of him all around our house and we take her to the cemetery all the time too.

I am sorry to hear that you have also lost a child, but knowing that there are other people out there like "us" helps. So, "welcome", you will be prayed for here and truly cared about.
