I spoke with a mom from my area this evening, she had a great idea that I would like to share. With in the last year, we have had four known losses. That's alot for a community our size and in that period of time. She suggested having a get-together with other parents in our community and having a special night dedicated to each of our babies. We would choose an evening or day and meet at "mom and dad's" home to share our pictures, stories and slideshows. We would have a "Baby Chase" night, or "Baby Natalie" night.
What a great opportunity for parents to reach out to other parents who have experienced a loss to find comfort and support with in our own communities. Thank you Amy, for this idea. :)
