Hello. Just wanting to introduce myself. My name is Kelley and my husband and I lost our first-born almost 24 years ago. How we would have loved to have something like this organization around back then. The pain ebbs and flows - never anything set or planned - it comes unexpectedly these days then quietly goes away. I don't know if we ever get over the loss but I know that life is good, eventually. My blessings to each of the families here.

I would like to be of any help I can to others who are walking this path in whatever capacity I can.

Graciously - Kelley

Thank you Kelley for introducing yourself. I'm sorry about your loss 24 years ago even though it feels like it was just yesterday. We would love to hear your story if you ever would like to share. I'm glad that after so long you have found such a wonderful site as NILMDTS.

Kelley, thanks for introducing yourself. I would also love to hear about your child. I know that we as parents don't get to talk about our angels very often. I know you are willing to reach out and help others which is awesome. I hope in turn, you can share your story and experience healing in ways you have not felt before. It has been 16 months today since I said hello and goodbye to my little boy. And while I have found a new normal, I still ache for him, and tears will still come when I think about what he would be today. I don't think that will ever go away. May God give us peace and grace for this journey we are on. Looking forward to hearing more about you and your first born angel.

Kelley, Thanks for introducing yourself. I think you can offer the perspective of time to all of us. It is good to know the pain does ease a little.

I'm really glad you joined us. I am also sorry for your pain of losing a child. I would love to hear your story if you ever want to share it. I find it helpful to talk to others who have 'been there' for all circumstances--and this is no exception. I know time teaches many things and you must have much wisdom to share.
