My husband and I are in need of prayers. My husband lost his job in February and he has still not found a job. His last unemployment check was last week and my job just informed me that I owe them for my insurance while I was out on leave, so I am not receiving any paychecks till September 1st. I don't know what we are going to do.
My husband is out looking for a job today again, so please pray that he is able to find something even if it's temporary. I know that there are people out there that have it worse, so I know we'll make it but it is a little stressful.
Also pray that I will not let this worry me to much because I already have blood pressure issues and I know it is not good for the baby. I am 16 weeks today.
Thanks for all the prayers. :)

Thank you so much for the prayers! Since I posted this the ladies in the HR department at my work donated days to me and I got enough money to pay for rent for the month of July. Now my husband just has to get a job before August rent is due :). Thanks again for all the prayers.

I believe there are charitable organizations that could help. Organizations like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, local churches and many more all are trying to provide assistance for various situations. Don't assume that you have to be homeless or totally without funds to receive help. Short-term assistance is available too. Each year these charities have various fund drives and many of us supported organizations like United Way through programs at work. The understanding is that these funds will be used to help others in need. Asking for help with bills and medical assistance should certainly qualify.
I don't know which charity would be most appropriate, but if you got on the phone to a few of them, they could refer you to the right place. Your pastor is another possible source of information. Don't wait until there is no place else to turn. Just knowing that there is help available and where to get it can reduce the stress level, even if you end up not needing to use that help.

Thanks I will check into it. It's just so crazy because as an employed teacher I never thought this would happen. So I feel like I worked the last six months for nothing ... just to pay off my insurance and to still have hospital bills on top of that. My next paycheck will be in September but I return to work in August. I was out for 12 weeks after I had Tyler and 3 weeks on bed rest and for me to be out 15 weeks which isn't even half of the year my salary was cut in half. I don't see how that happens but they have explained and explained it and it's just their policy. I even tutored after school for a few kids free of charge and as a teacher you never go home at the scheduled time.
Thanks again for all the prayers. My husband does have an interview tomorrow. :)

I will say a prayer that your dh finds something quickly. Bill has great advice, too.
I remember having a three year old, being pregnant, and my 2 yo got cancer. My dh soon lost his job. God provided in amazing ways and I'm sure He will for you as you trust Him.
