Dear friends,

I've been volunteering with NILMDTS for almost 4 years and although I have never experienced a loss I've worked along side those who have and sat with friends and cried with them during their time of pain. Then my younger sister and her husband who have been trying to have a second child now for three years finally got pregnant on their own and had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks. They have been going to a fertility specialist in hopes of getting pregnant this summer and were so happy to find out they were finally going to be parents again. It has been devastating for them in so many levels and I was just wondering if anyone could suggest a place online that has beautiful hand engraved jewelry? They nicknamed their baby June bug because that was the month they got pregnant and I really wanted to do something special for her. My heart breaks in two for them...

I am so sorry for your sister's loss. No loss, no matter how early or late, is hard. Your sister is so blessed that you are so supportive.

I have a necklace with my son's footprints and name on it from My Forever Child. I love it and wear it every day :). They are a little expensive, but it's well worth it.

There is also Mama Mia and she has an etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/mamamiatina. She is also an angel mommy to twins, Ellie and Sofia.

Hope you are able to find a great piece of jewelery for your sister to remember her little one.

Praying for your sister and your family.

Blessings to you all,

She has good days and bad days but more good days now than not. She and her husband are on the upswing of their fertility treatment right now so we're scared and excited for them. This is supposed to be "the week" so we're trying not to get our hopes up too much but it's hard not to. In my search to find something special to honor their little "june bug" I came across this site (http://petalwink.com/) and read about these children's books targeted specifically to empowering and nurturing young girls. I just liked what PetalWink stands for: Play; Express Thankfulness All day; Listen With my heart; Include others in a kiNd way; Knowing all the while my fairy special part. One of the fairy friends is June Bug fairy! So I sent the link to my sister and she loved it. One of the running themes in this author's series is "good things come on tiny wings" and nothing could be more true. Since my sister loved it so much I think I will have something engraved for her with that because I really liked the jewelry when I visited the Forever Child website.

Thank you for asking about her, that means so much!
