Amby Richards, Account Executive with Names and Numbers (phone book) has given us a free listing under non-profit organizations, and will use the NILMDTS half-page ad by Moxie as ''filler" material in the physicians section of the book! Not at all! This is your local phone book that has donated the ad? A half page ad is great!

How did you go about getting the ad? What advice/recommendations do you have for coordinators to get this done in their areas?

Art-Please do not be impatient with your words just because there is not a timely post. I try to read everything, but sometimes lack the time to post right away!

It's not all about me;) ; I just wanted to get this idea out to the forum. If you are a member of your local Chamber of Commerce, the yellow page reps will come to you (we have THREE yellow page companies in Texas!:mad: ). If you aren't in your C of C, make a call to the book companies and ask for a sales visit. At the end of my visit with Amby, I showed her a NILMDTS brochure, and asked her if they would give us a listing under Charitable Organizations, and then I asked her if she could put a half-page ad in the physicians area (these book companies - like most publications - often have extra space in their layouts, and welcome 'filler' material). I printed out the half and full page ads, and gave her a disc of both PDFs. Amby's mother lost a baby born still, and the mother to this day dowsn't know if it was a boy or girl, so Amby definitely gets NILMDTS. All you have to do is ask!
