Teddy Bears

I have asked my friends and family to give a teddy bear for me to donate in memory of Emilee on her first birthday. I posted it on my fb just a little while ago and have already gotten hits. I will of course be sending thank you cards along with a picture of all of the teddy bears to each person who donates. The teddy bears are for parents who lose their child at the hospital. I am going to be sure that the nurses know they are for child losses, and not just for someone who loses a family member that is 90 years old. No, that is not fun either, but these are specifically for baby losses.

I can not take credit for this idea. ca1211 gave it to me :) I stole it from her. But I think it is an amazing idea and I love it!

What a wonderful idea. I think that it is definitely something parents would appreciate. The hospital were I delivered gave us a box with special items like that and it really meant a lot. I also think people would be very willing to donate.
