It's that time of year again. Happy birthday to my sweet girl. December 28th would have been Marah's third birthday. I can't help but wonder.. What would Santa have brought her?-What would her Christmas jammies would look like? How early would she have climbed into our bed on Christmas morning?
The first Christmas after Marah died, I could barely crawl out of bed...it was difficult to put one foot in front of the other. A few years have passed and time has softened the pain. I have no trouble putting one foot in front of the other; now it is just trying to put one thought in front of the other as her special "heaven day" approaches. Somehow, I thought that after 3 years have passed, this birthdate would settle in a little easier. We are awaiting the year's first snowfall and we'll make our traditional snow baby on Marah's grave. Just maybe it will be on her birthday this year. ;)
I have a soundtrack to my life, and the song "How can I help you to say goodbye" popped up as I read your post... Be of good cheer...

Hi Deb,
I see your online, hope I can say hello on time. Were stuck in this Blizard in CO. We were supposed to leave for CA at 0400 but who knows now. How has your week been so far? Are you hangin in there. I hope you'll take pictures of the snow man. We wanted to go out today and make one but when I say it's a blizard, it's a blizard what a mess!

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Baby Marah,
Your Mommy, Daddy, Brother and Sister are in my thoughts and prayers today. I hope you are having a beautiful birthday in Heaven. For some reason, I am picturing you in a pretty periwinkle princess dress with lots of taffeta...And you are dancing.
I have met your mommy, and she is a wonderful and incredible woman. You should be very proud of her. She is helping alot of other mommy's and daddy's, and even brother's and sister's that are feeling the heartache of losing a precious little one...
Dance, little one, Dance...
((hugs to you in heaven))

Hi Deb~
I pray your day was filled with joy and happiness - that you were able to celebrate the wonderful blessings Marah has brought to you.
Dear Marah~
Did Ethan sing you our family birthday song yesterday! I'm not sure he remembers how it goes so just in case I'll put it here for you. We sang it to him on his special day and we will every year.
Happy Happy Birthday from the Davis crew, we wish it was our birthday so we could party too!
Thank you for sharing your Mother with us! She is an amazing person, I can't wait to meet you some day when our Father calls me home. If your like your Mommy - I bet you'll be by Ethan's side cheering him on as he makes his way to me.
Hugs and Kisses Marah! Happy Birthday!!
Linda and the boys!
