When I wake in the morning I long to see you by my side, even at nights, as I toss and turn, I'll open my eyes and look for you across the room where your crib should have been.

When I see the sunrise, I long to see it with you,
As the wind blows across I imagine you and I saying goodbye to your brother as he goes off to school.

When I close my eyes I try to picture your face, with your trusting eyes looking at Mummy wondering what I am doing, your sweet smile as I bend over to kiss your chubby face.

When will I ever hold you again, smell your sweet scent and hear your little voice whisper my name?
