I've decided to try and post a little blurb here each month to keep everyone up-to-date on what's been happening with in our NILMDTS community as well as other tidbits of information. I will stress try because I will be honest and say, I'm not always the fastest car in the parking lot in accomplishing tasks! :eek: However, once I can get my ducks in a row it will hopefully be smooth sailing from there.
First of all, to the parent coordinators who have requested brochures and business card info~ I swear I have not forgotten about you. I'm in the process of getting a system in place to make things go a little easier. I sincerely apologize for the delay and I thank you for your patients and understanding. I know these are important tools to have on hand and present to your hospitals and other organizations to help raise awareness about NILMDTS. I would like to ask, if you have requested information from me and I have not responded, please send me another email to becker_tammy@yahoo.com or, you can send me a PMessage here also. Please be sure to include your mailing address, email and a contact number, in case I would need to reach you for additional information.
Along the same lines, we have received many emails from medical personnel wanting to know more information about NILMDTS. I will be going through my list again, and if there is a Parent Coordinator in the same area, what I would like to do is forward the information and have each perspective Parent Coordinator follow up. I think if we can put hospitals in contact with persons in their area, it would be much more effective. Example: We receive an email from a hospital in Boston, there is a Parent Coordinator in Boston... I will forward the message to you, you will then be one of the hospital's contact persons.
Preemie Magazine published an article about NILMDTS and is in the Jan/Feb issue. Online version of the article will be available in March. This will be posted in "The Morning Paper" area of the forum when it is available.
Our photographers have been busy with conventions and seminars this month. The most recent was in San Antonio TX at Imaging PPA.
As you all already know, these wonderful people are the heart and soul of NILMDTS. If it was not for their dedication and graciousness to donate their time and talents, NILMDTS could not exsist.
