One of our Mother's here on NILMDTS needs our prayers. She lost her daughter last year to still birth at 7 months and now she just lost her husband yesterday. Please say a prayer for her and her family. He leaves behind our dear friend here and a 10 yr old daughter. Pray for peace and healing please as I don't want to share the details of his death - just pray with me please!!!

Yes, where is she? I know that if she's local to me I'd be desperate to do something (yard work, cleaning, bringing meals, anything) to help if she needs anything.
We don't need the details of his death, no matter what happened it is tragic and I can't imagine what she is going through right now. Will be praying!

Linda,
Many prayers will be sent her way. I can't imagine what she must be feeling. Life just isn't fair sometimes. I will continue to pray for her and her family.

Sorry it took a few days to get back. She's in Florida. I spoke to her yesterday and she sounds as good as possible. She is completely relying on the Lord and His strength. She did ask for much prayer! Thanks for praying with my family for her and her family. Also, pray for her 10 yr old daughter as yesterday was her birthday, they did the best they could trying to make the day special for her.

Well, I hope that we have some Floridians (I'm almost on the opposite corner of the country over here in Oregon) that can help her out if she wants/needs it. It is in cases like this and others that I am so thankful that people have faith. I don't know how those without it can survive such a dreadful situation.

I know, the Lord does amazing things! He must truly have something very special for her. She has suffered much and still remains faithful in God and in His plans for her life. I do worry though for the time when everything stops, the flowers, the appointments, the phone calls and then she has the time to let it all sink in. I think right now she's in such sock that it hasen't fully hit her.

Linda, I will keep them in my prayers and you as well. My heart aches for this mother and her daughter. I pray that God guides them through this sadness and eases their pain. Bless them....

I have e-mailed and called about once every other week. She hasn't e-mailed or called back. I work with several others people who know her and one guy is talking to her, so that is good. I wouldn't say she's doing great but she's getting by for now according to him. I'm just thankful she has someone talk to right now. She'll come back around later with me. Ya know how we all have our friends divided into catagories. I tend to be the more spiritual friend. So right now she's getting all the anger out! She'll turn to me when she wants to talk about moving forward and finding peace. Right now I'm just praying for peace, hope and healing for her and her daughter. If you ever read this girly~girl, you know I'm here for you and will never stop praying for you! We have known eachother far to long....
