Message to our daughter, Molly

Oh, our sweet Molly,

You couldn’t stay very long.

It was only months ago we learned,
There was something inside of you very wrong.

Your mother nurtured your sister and you,
She did the very best that she could do.

Why your twin sister couldn’t stay we’ll never know,
But you stayed strong and continued to grow.

Ethan and Emma watched Mommy’s belly swell,
As mom and dad’s faith and hope for you never fell.

Your space inside continued to get tight,
And we all prayed you’d make it out alright.

We prepared for your arrival the best we could,
Facing an outcome no parent ever should.

When we finally saw you face it was clear,
You brought with you a love that quenched our fear.

Your hour of life has changed all who know your name,
Hearts touched by you will never be the same.

The pain we feel is really the greatest love.

Love is all you ever knew,
And is what you feel as you watch us from above.

That was great poem and fits everything about her. Its great to write things down when you have the emotion to get it out on paper. I know what your feeling I lost a twin, I have some of those feelings as well. Maybe you can get that copied onto a candle that would look nice in your home and something for a memory to see. I know the poem that I had done for my daughter we have laminated and take out to the cemetary over Memorial Weekend for people to read. That way people get to know her and people know how much she was loved and is missed.

If you would like EASY instructions on how to put this on a candle yourself let me know mom2angels@mwt.net and I will send them to you.... it is neat and wont interfere with burning the candle and you can always make another for next year. It is cheap too- I am sure much cheaper than getting it laminated on, but it depends on what you are looking for in the candle (for show or to use)

Mike,

That poem is wonderful. It is so nice to see you that you can write down what you felt and continue to feel for your daugther in a poem. Tears came to my eyes as I shared in your pain. I will pray tonight for you and your family.

Love,
