In the last couple of days, I've gone through this web site, and have watched Maddux's video, and Baby Chase's video, gone through the baby books, read testimonials, and just read and re-read about every post there is on the site.

With the anniversary of Maddux's birthday coming up, I just want to take a minute to say thank you to Cheryl for her strength and vision. Cheryl, where you find the energy to keep this foundation running the way you do, I'll never know. You have taken a vision, and have turned it into a team of over I believe close to 350 volunteers in North America, in less than a year. That number keeps growing. Maddux is so proud of you. As is the rest of your family I'm sure. I know that we haven't met as of yet, but I look forward to the day when we can meet and I can give you one of those big hugs that I always read about in your posts.

As far as the rest of the foundation, you can't get away without mentioning co-founders Sandy "Sam" Puc' (I'll never get the pronunciation right), Dave Junion, and forum administrator Kirk Keif. All photographers that give HUGE amounts of time to this foundation. Talk about some strength. All of you deserve a big thanks.

To my fellow photographers, thank you for volunteering your time and efforts. As the father of Lindsey, I can only tell you how much these images mean to a parent. Don't for a minute ever think you aren't making a difference in the lives of these parents. Nineteen years later, I still look at the pictures we have of Lindsey. So will your parents.

To our parents, thank you for allowing us to be a part of this, the most difficult time in your lives. I hope that we are able to make a difference in the healing of your hearts. Sometimes it is hard to look at your babies pictures, but over time, it will become easier. With time, all things become easier.

Cheryl and Sam, thank you for this wonderful foundation. God bless.

Scott

Scott-

I just found this post, so forgive me for being late in responding.

I am a parent that lost a baby, after birth, and knew from my experience that I wanted beautiful portraits of my son. That's it. I never expected that his images would have such an impact and play such an important role in my families healing.

It is I, that thanks God every day for meeting Sandy. It is I, that thanks God for each and every photographer, affiliated with NILMDTS, that volunteers their time and services to these families. I personally know the gift they will receive, and what their child's images will mean to them and others around them, during their healing process.

So, THANK YOU.
