I don't know if I am posting in the right thread here, but wanted to share a couple of my digital scrapbook layouts for my precious Alison Hannah. I discovered this wonderful way to create new memories just last year and have been busy making lots of them for Alison and for friend's babies too. I thought I would share just a couple of them.
I did the flowers and candles for her 22nd birthday on 4th May this year and discovered a new way to work with my images which delighted me to say the very least. Its a bit addictive doing digital scrapbooking and I have to be very careful whole days don't go past, but I have so very few photographs myself, and this helps me to see Alison in new ways and create new memories and mementoes, when we have so very few of her time here.
The pictures aren't perfect, I am still learning, but I am so thankful that my pc is able to bring me new ways to live alongside my grief for my precious daughter. I hope its okay to post these here
With Love
Sheryl

I seen this thread last night but I didn't post, just wanted to say how beautiful it really looks. Good job. Wish I had the time to do stuff like that.

Thank you Janeice and Lindzy for your comments. It is addictive, but its also something that can be done quite quickly once you get the hang of it. I have started to take photographs now with a view to scrapbooking them and it certainly focuses my snapping!
I found so much help and support at the following site and they have lots of freebie graphics. I get lots of ideas from their gallery and there are parents who post their layouts for their angels on there too, so its a new way to share my precious daughter.

Lindzy you are getting good at these pictures you are doing. Maybe you should put one of them on Kaydences resting place.

Sheryl those are just beautiful. Your right doing diffretn things with each pictures gives is something diffrent and gives you more of her in a diffrent way. And may I say your daughter is just adorable!

Sheryl, your creations are beautiful, your daughter Alison, is beautiful. I have found a lot of peace in scrapbooking, but I am not to familiar with digital scrapbooking. I have found a few sites and just kind of played around to see what I could do. It is very relaxing and fun.
Lindzy, what sites or programs have you used to make your pictures? They are wonderful?

Estrella i just have a basic Microsoft Digital Imaging program that came free on our computer but am getting a Photoshop program soon...and i joined Scrapbookflair.com they have lots of free downloads and a section in the marketplace called Freebies with links to designers sites with freebies, all they ask is you credit them when posting on a webpage....other things i got just by googling "digital scrapbooking freebies" and searching the web....its so much fun and so addicting! And the digital versus regular scrapping is so much better cuz you can use the pieces over and over!

Thanks Lindzy! I agree that it is very addicting! Although lately, anything on the computer has been addicting to me. Especially this website!:) I have not gone back to work yet(I decided to take the summer to spend more time with my kids), So some days I have more time on my hands then I know what to do with. Anyway, I get stuck on the computer for hours and the time goes by so fast. But it is very relaxing for me, so I think it is a good addiction! Thanks again for the info!
