On mothers day, I received a beautiful email from a mother in Colorado and an online gift certificate to this company.
Cheryl,
I wanted this to simple and hopefully you will not think it is too crazy. I think of you, your beautiful son, and all the families that you have helped everyday. Everything I would like to tell you seems as though I would come off selfish and that is not what I want. I just feel like I should explain a little. Over the past few years I had several miscarriages and when we found out we were expecting and got to the 12th week I was over the moon. It was short lived at 16 weeks we began the journey of unknown darkness. Every week there was something new that was wrong with him and they would try to save him but they just weren't sure they could. We prepared as best we knew how and he came out at 2lbs 3 oz and surprised everyone. That experience changed me. It changed the type of mother I have become. It changed my prayers, thoughts and sometimes my actions.
I wish I could do this for all the mothers but I figure this is a start. I wanted you to know that you and your beautiful boy are remembered and I believe your love reaches up to heaven. This is a little something I could so for you to let you know as mother we are all connected and here for each other. I found this jewelry place in one of the NICU forums I visit frequently and when I saw them I immediately had to have one and then I thought you should have one. I tried to come up with something for you but I thought you should do that.
Also, if there is anything I can do to help the organization please let me know. I live in Westminster and I am a stay at home mom at the moment.
I just wanted to wish you a Happy Mother's Day.
All the best,
Stefanie

So, thank you again Stefanie. Your gift is greatly appreciated.
