Well it was April 17th and I didn't get any sleep the whole night from sharp pains. Well when my husband woke he asked I wanted to go to the hospital, which usaully he didn't even give me the option. By then I would have been thrown in the car. At that moment I knew today would be different. Well when he returned I told him we have to go so I got ready and he took a short nap. When we got to the hospital we assumed it was another usual short trip. Due to many complications through out my pregnancy I was always in and out of the hospital for pain. Well turns out that our son was going to be removed my emergency sesection. After having a abruption of the placenta that was required. Gabriel Antonio Betancourt was born at 12:14pm weighing in at 1lb 2oz. He was not supposed to survive but being the strong little man he was he lived for 35 days. By the Grace of god when went in right at the right time. We live in a small town so, small town hospital! Well the specialist from out of town were at the hospital doing their annual inspections. Gabriel was our pride and joy and it was very devistating to me and my husband to lose our first child but I know that God will take care of him until Mommy & Daddy make it home to him.
