Hi--
I feel ready to begin Evan's scrapbook, but all I have is pictures from the hospital--no negatives, not touched up, etc. I only have a handful of photos of him and us together. I would like to make a nice book out of the photos and memories I have. Is there a way to add and touch up photos? I want his photo album to look perfect and am searching for photo and album advice.
Thanks in advance,
Cheryl Elliott

I can't answer your photo question, but I can tell you what I did with Marah's book. I added space at the end for pictures of Memory Walks that we did with March of Dimes, photos of the garden we made for her, poetry I have written and pics that my son has drawn of her. I'm glad a added the extra space. We are coming up on our 4 year anniversary date and I try to add something each year.
Just my 2 cents

Can you get the photos digitized? Either via a scanner or a digital camera?

Cheryl,
Glad to hear from you again. Its been two years but decided to do album also. I dont have many but lots of items I photographed at the studio to get better lighting. I think if you have a good quality scanner you can touch up the photos depending on your images. Let me know if you need help, I helped you get answers on your sweet angel Evan and how he passed I know between a friend at work and I we can help what your looking for. I am going to put mine also on a DVD slideshow too . Let me know if you need some ideas.

As Kirk said, if you have digital images, there are many photographers here that would be willing to assist in editing for you.
Just let us know!!

There are so many things you could do, we could all help you edit the images, but you could layouts that have no pictures as well...
"What's in a name"
"Our hopes and dreams for you"
You could also do pages on future dates and how you chose to remember or celebrate your baby's memory.
Here is a link of a book that my friend did for me.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you very much for your tips and advice. I love the idea of leaving blank pages at the end for ways we continue to celebrate Evan's life.
Many asked about the photos themselves--all we have are the photos from the hospital staff--but I will work on getting them scanned in. Thanks everyone for your generous offers to help out with Evan's album. I look forward to putting it together in a way that would honor him.
Thanks again,
Cheryl Elliott
