got a question? Is there going to be music on your new site? I think the music really added to it.

Yes, we have a very special song that wasw written by a friend of mine. I really think you will all like it. When Cheryl and I heard it for the first time we both ended up in tears. It is called "lay me Down"

Let us know what you think....

I want to thank Tasha Nichols of Simply Yours Creations for helping me with the quote images. These quotes have really added that wow to our site...We now have our new song, on the startpage, thanks to Robin Patrick, and we have placed the beautiful song by Nikki Venable on the Image Gallery page. Thank you to everyone for your imput. Please keep letting us know your thoughts...

The website is perfect.

A HUGE thank you to all those involved putting it together and getting it going. I can't begin to fathom the number of hours everyone spent on this. Much appreciated!!! I think the initial site caught attention.... this is over the top. Not to mention the simplicity factor if/when our members need to change their information, etc.
Job well done~

Great new site!

But I do have this one little nagging concern, well two really.

1. I contacted Heather quite some time ago about removing a photographer in my area — she doesn't live in the area anymore and the phone number is or will be disconnected shortly.

2. Any member, past or present, can edit anyone else's information. I don't know that this is a problem, but it just feels like we are hanging out there a little bit. Also, we could delete all of someone's info, but not easily remove them from the list entirely? Even the person who wants to be removed can't do it themselves from what I can see.

It would be great to have a button on there that would allow a photographer to remove themself from NILMDTS. Or even put themselves on an inactive list.

I have about 5-7 in our area that have left over this last year but are still listed and 2 that are pregnant and will be inactive for some time but are also still listed. And then 1 that is having personal problems that also would like to be inactive.

This would be a helpful function for the photographer.

Our original thought was, to know who who was being removed. I think that if the photographers want to be removed or inactive for a period of time, we should know that information first hand. From them, not by a data base search...make sense? We could maybe have a button to click if they want to be removed, or made inactive, but the actual removal, must come from headquarters.

I totally agree with needing to know as well. I guess I was thinking ahead a bit and hoping that the button would trigger something that would be sent to the NILMDTS headquarters as well as the Area Coordinator who also needs to know.

I agree that there should be central communication when a name removal or change to inactive status is involved. I sent some changes like this to Heather a little over a month ago and she told me to wait until some of the details were worked out on the new site. I do understand how hectic this change has been. Please let us know when the time is right to make these changes.

Appparently no one else is concerned about the fact that any member can change any other member's information?

Bill, this is definitely something that has been brought up and we are working on. I would hope that for the time being, that nobody on here would be that wicked...

Bill, and everyone else that reads this. You can change your password once you login. simply click on 'Account settings' and type in your choice of a new password. This will prevent someone from changing your info.
