As of late I've been having a hard time with missing Lindsey. After talking about it some, Cheryl asked me if I had thought about Lindsey being in Heaven looking over all the other children that have come after her. Once i had thought that, and after Cheryl had mentioned it, it made me smile a litle more. I currently have two loving children, and can't imagine that Lindsey wouldn't be any less loving towards children than her brother and sister are.
To think that she is there to help welcome all the new children, to help them play, and introduce them to all the other children, gives me a smile.
Lindsey also has two teenage cousins and an Uncle who have joined her, and I'm sure they have all joined together and are having fun, and are helping to look after all the kids. Our children are safe where they are, and are looking out for us. They are with our family members who have gone before us, and aren't alone. Between family, and all the other children there, you know there has to be one big play date going on for them.
If nothing else, I know my Lindsey B is there welcoming each child and taking them under her wings. I feel comforted knowing she's helping our children, and that there was someone elses child who welcomed her, and has looked after her.
Although I would give anything to have her here, I'm glad she has a purpose where she's at. I know she's given each of our children a big hug and a kiss as she's greeted them. Then she's introduced them to all the other kids by name, and their off to play. Always taking time to look down on their family, coming down to visit, and to be with us.
