I dont know if you guys knw about the iGive.com page but it is an online shopping site that will allow you to give donations on what you buy back to an org. of your choice. I thought it would be a good way to help get donations in for our special org. Please check out the web site. It may be easier than Christmas shopping at the malls this year for some. Sending hugs Lyssa

I agree - it is very easy - I have been using it for years with another organization I belong to. Most major online stores subscribe to it, and you can set it up so when you go directly to the store site, a window will pop up to tell you that this purchase is eligible (Windows only, as far as I know).

Another idea: 1-800-OUR-GIFT (http://www.ourgift.com/) (http://www.ourgift.com/) is) is an online and phone flower shop, that will also donate (I think 10% of cost) to 501(c)(3)'s every time you order flowers.

In either case, someone at NILMDTS has to register with them (and show proof of tax-exempt status etc), but after that, any time anyone buys something, they put a donation in your account. All extra revenue!

I've been using this, and I think it is great. I've raised a tiny bit of money, like you, Lyssa, but considering it was on things I would have purchased anyway, I love this service!!! NILMDTS is my designated charity. And if you download the iGive toolbar, it automatically takes you through the site if you just happen to be visiting a sponsoring store (like iTunes - I raised like $.42 through them a couple of days ago). I know it isn't much, but it will keep adding up! Plus they donate $5 each time a new member makes their first shopping purchase. I think it's a great idea.
