I wanted to express my appreciation to Lora Renshaw of Flashy Photography (Jones, OK) and the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep organization. Our daughter, Hope Rose Anderson, was born at 22 weeks due to a rupture in the amniotic sac and the doctor gave us no hope that she would live. We were in complete shock hearing this news and then following a terribly difficult labor our little girl was a fighter and lived for 2.5 hours. We were given the option by the lead nurse that Lora's services could be available and we agreed, not really knowing what the outcome would be.
When we received the pictures we were overcome with gratitude. The numerous pictures that Lora took were of the best quality that we have ever had from a professional photographer. Lora's attention to detail, the props used, the retouching of the photos all indicated to us that Lora gave a little piece of her heart in creating lasting images of our sweet girl. No one could pour that much time and effort into photographs without having a true dedication to this type of volunteer work. I would like to share some of Lora's masterpieces herein. Thanks to Lora we were able to create photo announcements commemorating our daughter's short life so that our family and friends could share in the love that we have for our child.
Your organization and photographers like Lora who carry on its mission are truly wonderful and caring people. I can never thank Lora enough for what she has done. My daughter's memory will forever be catalogued because of Lora's willingness to give of her time and resources. Words are not enough but we are most grateful.
I would be delighted to share our story on your website should you be so inclined to request it. Lora also provided us with black and white photos of each of these shots which we will happily share with you.
Thank you for your time.
