Every year, I buy a special ornament for each child for our family Christmas tree. I just wanted to share with you the ones I have collected for Maddux so far. And then there is his stocking. I found this the year he died, and just fell in love with it. I still have not monogrammed any of our stockings, but plan on doing so after this Christmas...

I also wanted to post this ornament for parents that have had an early loss in their pregnancy. This is simply beautiful. It is a frame that you can hang on your wall with this little angel ornament. It says that when your time to heal has passed, I hold another gift to last...How beautiful is that?

what wonderful gifts, im going to order that christmas from heaven ornament tom...i believe im going to get an ornament made with Kaydences name on it, ive been looking at them at our mall, we got her a stocking i will take a photo tom of it to show you all....

I had an angel shining down on me today. We have a craft sale at work each year and I always buy my daughter an ornament. This year I was worried about finding one for Jarell and how is the person that personalizes them going to take it when I want "1st Christmas in Heaven" put on it. Here is the ornament I found

The women that sold it to me calls me like an hour later telling me she found a perfect ornament for me, she asked if she could give it to me. I do not know this women at all, I guess what I put on the first ornament did something to her. I hugged this stranger, thanking her for thinking of me that way and she whispered in my ear, I have been there, I understand. I was in tears at this point! God always shows me that He is there, always bringing those special people into my life, even if only for a moment. Here is a picture of the ornament that she gave me.

Wow, I love all of your ornaments ideas!

I went to Hallmark today looking for an ornament for Tyler. We are going to place a miniture Christmas tree at the cemetary and I was looking for miniture ornaments to go along with it. I found the perfect ones for Tyler's tree. It was a set of Snoopy ornament (Snoopy is what we were thinking of doing Tyler's nursery in and it's sentimental for us.)

I was excited.... but then I started looking around for one for our tree at home and a sales lady was helping another woman pick out a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament. She was oohhing and aahhing and they were saying, "These keepsake ornaments are the best... your children will keep them forever." I couldn't handle it, Tyler wont be here to keep or see any of his ornaments, I just left my items to buy and went and cried in my car. This is our first holiday so far without Tyler and it's been horrible already... Well, I guess I will try ornament shopping another day with the support of my husband or mom with me this time!

OH Candace.. my heart is heavy during this holiday season. It is our first holiday season without Addison also. I'm still searching for her "perfect" ornament. I would have done the exact same thing if I were you.. although I'm not so sure with how I have been feeling lately that I would have made it to the car. I think Snoopy decorations for Tyler is soo cute! I know he won't be here to "keep" his ornaments but I believe he will see them from heaven and maybe if he has or will have siblings? they will keep them forever and they will be passed on for generations to come! Lots of ((((HUGS))))

I just called one of our local Hallmark's looking for the ornament the Cheryl had posted and they only had the display left and they could start selling the displays today so they are holding it for me!! I am very excited to get this ornament. I also picked up one from Target tonight, it is a picture frame that says Miracle Gift on the top with 2007 and then a baby carriage charm hanging from the bottom.

I am really trying to find is tree top that is a Boy Angel...that is my quest currently.

Estrella~I am going to stop at the Christian Bookstore this week, thinking that maybe they would have something. I seen a really cute Precious Moments Girl Angel tree topper on line, I just wished that they would have it in a Boy. I will keep you posted.

I went to the candlelighting last night at compassionate friends meeting and we each took a bulb/glass ornament took the top off and wrote a message to tuck inside and then wrote on the outside as well, we hung them on the tree when our childs name was called along with angels that were made for each of our children....it was very special and beautiful and i would post pics but my darn camera is having problems lol....its a great idea for our other children though im going to have mine write on paper and put it in the ornaments and take them to the cemetery, well as soon as it opens up, its been snowing so much here they've had it closed for over a week...grrr....

Carissa, how nice of that lady to give you that ornament... very special and nice of her to do so!

I have the Merry Christmas in Heaven ornament... I found it at a local craft store last month and had to have it. I'm also searching around for another ornament for this year, as I'd like to also get one each year. I did get a Snowbabies one with Ava's name on it.

As for other decorations and such, this year I've kind of adopted the "Noel" theme for my holiday decor, since that is Ava's midddle name. I have stuff all around with Noel and it just makes me feel so much better about the Christmas season... and I'm actually having an easier time enjoying all the preparations and such! Last year I wanted to erase Christmas all together, but this year, even though it would've really been her first Christmas, I feel that I'm able to enjoy it and feel some comfort... peace! I hope that everyone else here can too, even if just a little bit!
