The Hallmark Channel will be airing alittle blurb-probably no longer than 3-5 minutes-on April 3rd 2006. The program is called New Mornings. (check your local listings, It comes on really early...) And the title is "Memorial Photographs."
The subject is mostly describing the birth and death of Maddux, and how it came to us wanting photographs of him. How his images have helped my family through our healing, and the formation of NILMDTS.

Sam and I hope this will be a big "break" for this organization in getting this information out to the families and caregivers. :)

Thanks for posting that link, Cheryl. Great piece. I hope, though, that someone was able to video tape the whole thing, with the commentators lead in and lead out. If you're brother was not able to load it into his computer, I can convert the video tape to DVD and then post that. Hopefully, this is that little opening in the door of opportunity that may get the attention of others.

Message: I am fortunate to have never had this experience. I gave birth to a
healthy baby girl (Anna Elizabeth) on Dec 27th. I saw you on New Morning today, and looked up your site from the newsletter. I watched your video and cried. What a privilage to view the beautiful souls on this site.

My grandmother was 4'8" tall and too small to deliver a baby naturally. She was in labor a week in the early 1930's with my uncle. He died (or was dead at birth) from severe bruising due to the length of her life-threatening labor. She went onto have my mother via c-section a few years later. Throughout her whole life she mentioned to my mother how she always wished she could have seen him...touched him...held him. Back then the Drs felt it better to just take him away. She never really healed from the loss.

When I first saw all the pictures of the lost babies, I didn't want to keep
looking. It's so emotional as my own healthy baby rests peacefully in her crib
upstairs.

But I didn't turn away. I had to look at every single baby...
beautiful...perfect...imperfect...

To skip one photo seemed wrong. I wanted to honor each baby...each family..by really seeing them.

Thank you for the service you do. And thank you for reminding me how very
precious life is.

Is this an ongoing morning show (like the am news?? or a daily talk show??) I looked here and it says the title of the show every AM this week, so I was curious. I am a far cry from a morning person:o , but if it were to be on again I would certainly like to see it.
