NILMDTS Birthday?

In reading over the press release to send to all the news stations again I read that we officially were founded April 8th. That means it's almost our birthday and I think it would be cool if all of us who are still trying to get the word out- make an extra effort between now and then and maybe by the time we're officially a year old there won't be a person around who hasn't heard of us.

Well- we've already kind of talked about all the different TV shows- but have we actually contacted all of them? I don't mean only talk shows- yeah, GMA, The View, obviously Oprah would be fantastic- if they ever called us back- but what about other shows like Primetime and 20/20?

I wrote to the three major news stations again last night, as well as "Northwest Afternoon" where there's a chance they'll maybe run a story like this- they actually featured a photographer before who was doing it on her own, so it may feel like they already have "been there done that"- or they may not, since we're a big huge group and they were only one person... the biggest thing, Sam and Cheryl- if we do finally get picked up by someone... you ready to go on a publicity tour?? :P LOL. If you're too busy... I'll be happy to go talk to Oprie for ya... ROFL.

I'm up for Chicago..never been and I heard the shopping is great! ha ha Would that be fun or WHAT?!
No, seriously...I'm up to my letter sending campaign again--next 20 will be out to area photographers by April 8th. Gotcha covered in the BUCKEYE STATE!

Same here, sending letters to photographers in Minnesota. May have a connection with a major news broadcast out of Minneapolis/St. Paul. This is still in the works. Will definatley keep everyone up to date if it's a go.
