Can anyone tell me the scripture that talks about the child being formed in his mother's womb...but at the end it says talks about heaven and that being where he'll spend all of his days?
Thanks in advance!

Linda,
Here is the email...apparently she can't remember the whole thing..
Patty,
I would like to tell you this face to face, but I don’t think I could say it as well—at least not without breaking down.
There’s a Bible passage (and I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you where it came from) where God says “I knew you before you were knit together in your Mother’s womb”. It keeps coming into my head. (I know it’s there as others have agreed they, too, have read it.) It reassures me that Boden’s BEING is important and known to God before being known to you, his Mother, or the rest of his family. There is a purpose for his BEING though we may not fully know what it is right now. He is and was known and loved from the beginning by God the Father.
We’re extremely sad and the fabric of your family’s life has a very large hole in it now. Hopefully, as time passes, you will be able to see where his BEING has brought some positive things to your lives. Boden is the family’s little Saint—God’s little Angel.
Love,
Mimi/Jean
Try Psalm 139:13-16, where it talks about being knit in the womb. I'm not sure about the part about all of the days being spent in heaven though.

Thanks Ladies, I have that one on my desk...the one I'm looking for is specific in stating that the child does not live on earth - that all his days are spent in Heaven. I'm still looking!

1 Samuel 1:27-28
27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." And he worshiped the LORD there.

Linda, try Jer 1:5 or Psalms 139:14-16.
There are a bunch of Bible verses in my "Helping Bereaved Parents" document if you want to skim them.
5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew [a] you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." - Jer 1:5
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you. -Psalms 139:13-18
