Greetings to All~and Holiday Wishes~

A warm welcome to all new families who have joined our community. As I gaze the member list, I see it grow each time I brows through. We welcome you with open arms and warm hearts. Please know, we are here to help, to understand and to offer our knowledge, support and advise when needed. You have taken the first step in your healing journey and a very large step at that. On behalf of all our members on this forum, we want you to know we will walk beside you every step of your journey~ for this is our mission, our baby angels are with us everyday.

To all of our NILMDTS families, please know my thoughts and heart are with you all. You and your little angels have embedded a special place in my heart.

As we look to close another year, we tend to reflect back on many things. We remember our loved ones watching over us from above; especially~ our beloved children.
We recognize our accomplishments, our short comings and some of us may check our last years resolution list to see which ones need an "extension" and look for new resolutions to add on.

Two thousand seven has proven to be a growth spurt for NILMDTS. We have seen changes~ i.e. welcoming Jessica Roe as NILMDTS's Executive Director (many hugs to Jessica for taking this on) addition of a Board of Directors Team, (more hugs to all those folks and for keeping everything in order) new corporate office site, new website, new processes, etc.

We have also seen challenges come our way and have either resolved them, or formulated plans for future reference. Each challenge is an opportunity for us to grow and become stronger as an organization. We keep our mission in the forefront and we move forward.

Hi Tammy, I have been working with NILMDTS for a couple of years and love how much it has grown. Thank you! The paperwork is so much easier to access and I'm looking forward to growing NILMDTS in my area. I only wish I had more ways of being in more than one place at one time so I could service ALL! I'm very excited that my VERY local hospital only a few blocks from me recently got a contract w/ NILMDTS. I was photographing there and then we got notice I could not do so until they had a contract. I'm sure I will be there whenever needed now. Thank you for all you give to this organization and to us photographers!

What is the difference between a binding vote and a non-binding vote?? Thanks!

I am one of those with a non binding vote. A non binding vote is exactly that. I can vote, but it doesn't mean anything. However, I do have the right to debate for or against an item before it comes to vote. Since most matters are decided before it goes to vote, I'm comfortable with the fact that I can still attempt to influence the final vote through discussion. The reason I'm a non binding vote is that I'm considered a staff member.
