Update and U/S photos

So Thursday night i ate some bad salad dressing and got a little food poisoning and had alot of vomiting and some cramping in my back and tummy, i already had a doc appt for Friday because my sinus infection is still here (grrr) so we went to the doc Friday and we were able to hear the babies heartbeat in the office but to make sure everything else was still looking good we got sent up to the hospital for a u/s and "hold and call"(where the radiologist looks at the u/s and then calls and talks the my ob doc before we can leave)........i def felt alot better after hearing the heartbeat which was 167, and it was so exciting to see the baby on the screen, darin and i were just in awe to see the peanut moving around, it was pretty still just kinda hanging out but every once in a while would just squirm and baby was constantly putting its hands up to its face and sucking its fingers! its too bad we werent farther along to be able to tell the sex of the baby cuz we had the perfect view but the tech couldnt tell yet and she was a supervisor :(................one more thing, the u/s and hospital want to change my due date and move it up as they were showing me as of today i would be measuring at 12 weeks 4 days, which is what i originally thought based on my cycles but they had put my date at 11 weeks 2 days based on a 6 week u/s.....they all said as of right now the baby looked very healthy and was growing great, they cant tell anything about the heart yet as its too soon to get a really good look at all of the pieces of that although i could see the chambers when it was beating on the screen......so were crossing our fingers that when we go to our checkup next friday that my ob doc will agree with moving my due date from July 23 to July 15! Please keep us in your prayers and hopefully our next u/s will be around 18-20 weeks and we will see that our baby and its heart and organs are healthy and maybe find out what the sex of the baby is! here are our u/s pics from yesterday baby is sucking its thumb!

Congratulations!! July 15 is an EXCELLENT day to have a baby; it's my sister and my neice's bdays - and just for the record - I'm thinking this peanut may wear hair bows (okay, I've been right exactly THREE times in my entire life, but hey, I have a 50-50 change of being right lol). Congratulations on you pregnancy. Cute pictures. Glad to hear that everything is going well. I hope that with each upcoming U.S that you get good and comforting news. I'm thinking it's a boy just because almost everyone that has had a baby after a infant loss seems to have boys. At least that is the current trend, but maybe you'll change that. Take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

I love looking at ultra sound pictures and guessing what the doctor sees. Seems if they put hand on the print you already can see it but if they don't give a description people have a hard time seeing it for what it is suppose to be. Hope you get lots more and be able to make a book to show how he or she grows in the next couple of months. So happy for you!
