This amazing rock star in Canada heard about us from his friend who is an NILMDTS photographer and he composed this original song for us, it's called "Smallest and Wingless" - have a listen!http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=8454806

Craig's representative is also the musical production supervisor for both Grey's Anatomy and House and I wouldn't be surprised if we hear it there in the future. It's on his brand new album.

Thank you, Craig

SMALLEST WINGLESS

Dear One, we've been waiting for you.
We're thrilled, beside ourselves, that you've arrived.

White coats came in,
heads held low,
and talked for a bit, shuffled outside.

We closed the curtains and held each other,
and cried.
We said hello at the same time that we said goodbye.

The smallest and wingless,
leaving as soon as you arrived.
Sadness is just loved wasted,
with no little heart to place inside.

We closed the curtains and held each other,
and cried.
We said hello at the same time that we said goodbye.

This is another way you can support Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and our mission. If you know a musician or songwriter, it can't hurt to ask them to take a look at our website, and if they feel moved by what we are doing, ask them to reach out and help us with original music for our parents.
Thank you all so much.
Blessings,
Cheryl

I LOVE this song, it's hard to listen to it as it's so true in my case.--white coats, closing curtains, holding each other and crying............it takes me right back to the day, the hour, the minute. I prefer the original verson musically, though. This one on video he added a new 'swing' to it. It is still an emotional truthful work of musical art. What a beautiful song!!
