Hi Cheryl,
You don't know me ... I don't even remember the exact path that led me to your NILMDTS website a few days ago (I was looking at photography sites) but I was so moved by this organization; it's been in my mind ever since. I don't have any children, yet I found myself compelled to keep looking at the precious images of all these tiny angels and reading about them and their families who've been helped by NILMDTS. It was 6am when I finally went to bed Friday night/Saturday morning.
Photography has always been a strong interest of mine and I have just recently decided to pursue it more seriously and am enrolling in a professional photographer course. Hopefully someday (in the not too distant future) I'll be contacting you and NILMDTS to join your ranks of volunteer photographers ... I can think of no higher calling and honor for a photographer than to be able to give families such a lasting and healing gift.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers today as I wish your incredible son, Maddux, a bright and beautiful birthday in Heaven. He has accomplished so much already through you and the rest of NILMDTS. I can only imagine how proud you & Mike must be of your little angel.
