I am proud to say I was just approved today to become a NILMDTS affiliated photographer!
I wanted to introduce myself to all my fellow photographers out there and tell you a little bit about myself.
I gradauted with a degree in Photography from the Southeast Center of Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, Florida in December 2007. I have working since then at setting up a brand new website and trying to get my name out there. It's a long process...but I am hopefully getting somewhere.
I just moved from Daytona Beach to Titusville, Florida so it is definetly challenging to branch into an unfamiliar area where I don't know a single person (that may be an exaggeration, i do know a few...but not very well)
I am happily married to my husband of just over a year (december 2006) who works for United Space Alliance and is pursuing his Masters in the fall of 2008.
I am proud to have been approved and look forward to learning more on how to be a better photographer in the process. I also, more importantly, look forward to learning more about Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and all the wonderful work they do. I can't believe I have the opportunity to be involved!
I first found out about this organization just a short time ago when I attended the Captivated By Light seminar by Ed Pierce in Orlando, Florida in January of this year. I was so touched and wondered if i would even be able to get involved so soon....and to my surprise, I was. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this.
I also look forward to getting to meet more photographers out there and hear you share your experiences in this organization as well.
Any advice or suggestions you may have, I am open to....so please feel free to respond or message me. I look forward to meeting you all.
