I just wanted to post this information here regarding wording for thank you cards for bereaved parents. Please feel free to use or modify these in any way you see fit...
Again, we would love any ideas or suggestions that you have.
Please keep in mind, that we are in a state of shock after the deaths of our babies. We just lost one of the greatest loves of our lives. And we still have to think of the "other things." So, lets try to make this easier for parents, and get them the information that they need.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card
or sent a little prayer.
Perhaps you sent us beautiful flowers.
If so, we saw them there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
that any friend could say.
Perhaps you were not there at all,
just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much, whatever your part.
With deepest gratitude,
