Prayers for baby Happy

Hello everyone,
I just got an email from a fellow NILMDTS photographer that some of our very good friends are in the hospital and they are expecting baby Happy to surprise us and be here by tomorrow.
Kristy is not due until April 6th, and Happy cannot afford extra complications. They had a routine non-stress test today and ultrasound and i'm not sure yet how they ended up at the hospital but it seems they are there. I'm still trying to get more information from family and friends at this point.
Kristy and Howard lost another son two years ago at 37 weeks due to unexpected complications that they assured her were due to a virus and NOT in any way genetic. Their son Issac's head and brain stopped developing at 20 weeks. When they went in for their anatomy sonogram at 18 weeks this time, they found out that once again they were having a little boy, BUT he was a little behind. They were sent to a specialist here in Pittsburgh(they live two hours north in Erie, Pa) and Happy has continued to be behind, but has continued growing. Last month at their last sonogram he was about four weeks behind, and they started preparing for the possibility that baby Happy may not survive.
We have all rallied around them and sent as many prayers as we could their way,but now this complication cannot be good!
PLEASE help us and send as many prayers as you in the next few days. This is an AMAZING family who have trusted God to do his will, no matter what it may be, and deserve all the prayer they can get!

Just a quick update for everyone. Thank you so much for all of your prayers, it seems that some of them have been answered at this point.
As we were preparing to leave this morning, we got a call from my sister-in-law stating that Kristy and Howard were getting to go HOME!! What a blessing that is!
According to my sister-in-law they have a C-section planned for Monday, but that's a few more days for happy to grow stonger!!
Thank you all again for keeping them in your prayers, we all know that there is no such thing as too much prayer.

Another update for today i thought i would post some more information for all of you about my amazing friends.
Baby Happy is thought to have microcephaly, and a severe case at that. From everything that i have read about the disease, it should not cause death upon birth, so i'm not reallly sure if the doctors may be grasping at straws here, or just trying to give them some sort of diagnosis, and this is the closest one they can give.
We are all praying for baby Happy's lungs to mature a little more by Monday, and for strength for Kristy, Howard, and their two other sons Luke and Ben.
Kristy is having a really hard day today, she is starting to come off of auto-pilot and she is realizing everything they will have to go through on Monday.
I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you, i know we apprciate all the prayer for our friends, and I know they do as well.
If i know anything else i will post more information as i get it!

Well i wish my report for today was better than what I have to report.
Kristy went in today for other ultrasound, and we were hoping for an uneventful ultrasound, BUT that wasn't in the cards again.
Kristy right now is back in the hospital, due to the results of one of the tests, and it looks like that she is either having her C-section tonight after they re-do the tests at 10pm, OR in the morning at the latest.
I'm PRAYING soooo hard that the tests all come back postive and once again the doctors change their mind and let them come home again in the morning.
If that is not God's will then right now we are praying that Happy's lungs have matured enough in the last couple days that the fluid on them has disappeard!
Her youngest son Ben is sick right now, and I cannot even imagine all the stress that is on the whole family. I know they are surrounded by family and friends at the hospital right now, and there are prayers being said, and i will update when i hear anything.
Thank you all for praying, we are still praying for that miracle.

I was in a Church today showing support for a dear friend, actually one of our NILMDTS photographers. I was saying a prayer to myself, or I thought it was to myself, I guess I was whispering and didn't realize it. When I finished, a friend next to me asked who Happy was. I just smiled, and returned to my prayer.

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you that helped pray for our friends Kristy and Howard and their beautiful baby boy "Happy"
Asher means Happiness, so in his own way he took his sweet name to heaven with him today.
Kristy had to have her C-section today, and he bravely fought for 36 whole minutes. He was so perfect and beautiful with just a touch of light red hair, just like big brother Ben.
He weighed in at 4 pounds, 4 ounces and spend time today surrounded by lots of people that loved him. I was lucky enough to be there today, to see him, to see how perfect he was.
Please continue to pray for our friends Kristy and Howard, they still need all the prayers they can get.

Asher sweet baby! I am so sorry your family is here without you. My heart just breaks for your Mommy and Daddy, come give them angel kisses from all of here today.

How sad .... I am glad they were able to spend a little time together and remember how hard they fought. God only knows the reasons and sometimes I don't know why he has to be so unfair. I will continue to pray for the family and Asher and sending Big hugs to the the family.

My heart is breaking as I am just now reading this Thread. I cant imagine twice. You are such a good friend stand beside them and let them know we are all here if and when we are needed. Sending my prayers to this family in hopes they can still find their faith to comfort them....
