I have just newly signed up with NILMDTS. I am not a parent, nor a photogrpaher, but the Aunti of Heavenly Angels John Adam and Aaron Jae. I can not fully understand the pain of the loss of a child, but I have tried my best in supporting my twin sister through her two losses. She is an amazing women with amazing faith and strength. She is involved with NILMDTS, too.
If you look at a map you can see that I am pretty out in the area of no man's land. We have no photographers or hospitals involved w/NILMDTS within over 200 miles. My hope is to make contacts with photographers and hospitals in the region to reach families in my area who would be so blessed by the NILMDTS support and by having such beautiful images similar to those that I have seen on this web-site.
I would invite any newcomer's advise in beginning my journey. Of course, your prayers would be great. I would ask for God's direction in my new journey, patience, strength, security, and endurance as I start my new journey, as well. I do work full time and am a full time mom to an 8 year-old and a 5 year-old, as well. My bachelor's degree is in Social Work. My desire is to work this slowly and thouroughly to serve my families as professionally, as "whole"-ly, and as "Holy"-y as possible.
