I saw the segment about this organization on the Today Show this morning. I wept. If only I had known about this organization the day my baby died. I would have loved to have pictures of him as we held him as he passed on to his heavenly home. Our baby boy, our first, Keenan, was born on 11/19/90 and passed on 11/26/90. Most of my photos of him are on double exposed negatives. Anyone know someone who could "grab" him out of the photos? A family birthday party is in the background/foreground depending.

Your experience is very unnerving. I read your bio when you registered here, and I feel so sad for you. We do have some very talented photographers on here, and it is possible that we might be able to do something for you. In fact, I may have the perfect idea for you. Can you either email me a couple of your images, or post a couple in here?

I read your bio too! Welcome to our family. It just goes to show that none of us will EVER forget our babies. My heart breaks for you today - but I am so thankful you saw the Today Show today and that you brought yourself here. Welcome to our family!

karen,

Your story broke my heart. I'm so sorry for the loss of your child. The length of time doesn't matter.

Thank you all for your kind words. You know, over the years each November came and went, and each year it seemed to get easier. Sometimes I wouldn't get why I would feel so blue, and my husband would remind me. Recently I went through a second occurrence of breast cancer and went through some pretty major surgery, but I am doing wonderfully, and once again I feel God has answered prayers. So when I saw this on the Today show yesterday, I was struck by how hard I was effected. I only told a few people this, but I figured if it wasn't in God's plan that I should recover from cancer, I always had heaven and my beautiful baby boy, Keenan, to look forward to. Of course, I am not ready to quit being mom and wife to my two teenagers and husband, but in the event . . .

Anyway, Kirk, getting to your offer. I am not incredible computer saavy. How would you propose I get negatives emailed to you? I did have them developed at some point, but again how would I get those pictures on the computer? Remember, this is 17 years ago, I didn't own a digital camera at the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
