In today's paper, here in Omaha, on Page 1B, there is an article by Michael Kelly entitled: "Pregnant women suffer loss in silence". It is about his daughter-in-law in Florida who recently had a miscarriage. Although he does not mention the photographer's name, he does state that there were photos taken of the baby, and later in the article he mentions NILMDTS. He stresses the importance of having something to hold onto after a miscarriage. I am attaching a scanned pdf of the article- it is a low resolution copy - hope you can read it. The higher rez version was too big and would not upload. If I can find a better link, I will send it.

FYI, Pete Soby, a photojournalist who is now working for this paper, is also preparing a story for the paper's website about NILMDTS. He followed me on a session, and wanted to cover a couple more before doing the article. He will let us know when it is complete.

That was a great article. Thanks for sharing it with us. The one line that really struck me was the last sentence of the article "How do you let people know they have support before this (miscarriage) happens to them? Corrie wrote. "I don't know, but I want to try. I am no longer naive about the miracle of life""

I don't think any one of us who has lost a child is naive about the miracle and fragility of life any longer. I sometimes (or maybe a lot of the times) wish I was so naive. I think it makes me treasure every moment I have with those around me.

Thank you for sharing Roberta!
Three cheers for Michael Kelly to write an article that makes people a little uncomfortable in an effort to help his family.
