I wish the hospital here knew more about what a parent would want after their child dies. Stuff the parent wouldn't think of or think they wouldn't want but really would. I didn't think of getting a pic of everyone their holding him or cutting a lock of hair out because he had plenty. Or even getting a pic of me kissing him. I thought I wouldn't want pics because it was morbid but I am glad my husband took them anyway. I wish we had more of so many things. Like the nilmdts pics, I wish I would have let her take a pic of me holding him and kissing him but at the time I didn't think I would want it. I am so glad she went ahead and got me to let her take pics of his face. I didn't even think about holding him until my mom said it was ok and the nurses said I needed to And soon as I touched him the tears started rolling.
