Does anyone know how to kee a concrete statue from coroting(don't know how to spell that word LOL!) The wear and tear on them from being in the rain has got them doing that and I wanna preserve them. Because they are at Marcus' grave site.

We got an engraved concrete block as a gift after Timothy died, and I asked a friend who used to work at a garden/flower shop about caring for it. She said that concrete is more porous than resin statues (those have a kind of bumpy, stucco texture to them), and coating them with something like polyurethane usually does NOT work like it does for resin. She said the best thing for them is to take them in from the weather during the cold months--say, November to April--because the freezing and thawing of winter and early spring is what really takes the biggest toll on them. Of course, the idea of hauling this block of concrete into the garage every fall doesn't really appeal to me, but I reckon it's better than having it crack and split.
