My tatoo of a Saint

I thought I would share my tatoo for my son Louden. When he passed one of the members of the hospital church came in to comfort my wife and I. At the time that was the last people from which we wanted comfort from. She sat and greived with us and seemed to say all the right things to us. We will never forget her and what she called our son. She proceeded to tell us that we have our own little saint up there looking down on us and watching over us. Saint Louden Sean was looking upon us and will forever until we meet again. I could think of no other way but this one to remember my saint. My wife got the necklace made before my tatoo. I don't wear jewelry except my wedding band. This was my necklace!

What a great way to remember Louden--he'll always be a part of you because he's your son, and now you have a permanent reminder of him!

At my son Timothy's funeral, the nurse who had lead our childbirth class came to the visitation beforehand and said that we had reached a goal of all parents: we got our son to heaven, and we have a saint in our family. The priest who said the funeral sermon also referred to him as St. Timothy Jude. Those two things have comforted me in the past few months since his (earthly) death.

I am sure that St. Louden Sean is praying for you.
