I'm looking for ways to use the flowers we dried from the bouquets we got at Timothy's funeral. Currently they're in a box, and I would like to display them somehow. I've thought of adding them to a wreath or something like that. Here's my hesitation: I know we won't be in this house for more than 2 or 3 more years while my husband finishes school, so I'd like something that won't fall apart when we have to move. Any ideas? Or will the flowers not last that long anyway, and I'm worrying for nothing?

I put our twins flowers in a vase with their baby rattles.I also hung some of them on the wall(my husband thinks I'm crazy) You can try to spray the with super hold hair spray in the can or if/when you do move put them in a shoe box, very carefully and have that on your lap so they dont get crushed.I hope this helps.

Right now I have a few dried flowers from a bouquets we received hanging on my wall, too. Roses dry so prettily. (Just in case anyone needs to know, tie them together and hang them upside down to dry and they do beautifully).
Anyway, if you have quite a few of them, I know there are lamp bases you can buy that are clear glass and can be filled with things. I have seen people do this with dried flowers before, and it looks pretty tasteful. I guess it might go with a country decor more than anything, but my house is definitely not country and it's something I would do if I had saved enough flowers.

I don't know how you feel about actually taking the petals off, but we put the petals of the flowers in a clear glass container (hard to describe) and filled it with popourri oil. My mother first did this when my grandma passed away and that was ten years ago.
