A Face Tattoo??

:confused: What do you guys think about this? I am wanting to get a tatoo of Marcus' face on my leg with his fist name written above it and middle underneath it like arched but I don't know where I would put his birthday at. I am trying to figure out a way to put it on there to make it perfect. Of course it will be a little bit to before I can afford it and I wanna find a guy that can do it perfect. Any ideas. I have even thought about putting his wieght and height on it but don't know what will be good.

I am so glad you elaborated on what you meant...when I first saw the title of the thread, I thought you were going to tattoo your FACE!!!! I thought, "Oh, my. I've got to stop her!" Then I read the thread.

I have thought of doing the same thing. I know I would like to get a memorial tattoo, and have thought of using one of my NILMDTS photos as a basis for the work. I think it is a good idea. Definitely do his birthdate. And maybe you could do some clouds in the background or something, like he's in heaven.

I love the idea. I actually have gotten a tatto in memory of my angel Brandon. It is not his picture, but something really specail. I got his actual footprints (copied out of his baby book) with angel wings around it, and a halo. It also has his name. Instead of trying to explane it i will just attach a picture. Anyways, i love the idea of a memorial tattoo. I was wonting Brandon's picture, but changed my mind, because i couldnt find anyone who i knew could make it perfect. However, i have met a guy that does pictres all the time. They look awsome, and perfect. I am actually considering going and still getting Brandon picture tattooed on me. Good luck on deciding, and i am sure what ever you decide to get it will look great.

First, You need to find the person who would do your tattoo...ASK around. Don't just settle for anybody!!! This is very important!
THEN, You need to tell them your idea about what you want...
THEN, They will help you with the layout. They will draw it out, print it out, whatever, until it is what YOU want...

my husband is getting our angl put on his arm w/ "in memory of our angel michael lee brown, 07/20/2006". i love my death to death, buti cant stand pain so i am getting MLB for his name on my anckle. its a great idea

Shawnna ~ I agree with Cheryl, find someone through word of mouth. If you see someone with a "portrait" tattoo go up and ask them where they got it. Not just anyone can do portraits well!!!!! I am still waiting to find the perfect person to do Jarell's portrait and I got his name a year ago. Don't rush into anything, it's forever. But it will be beautiful when you do get it!!!

I want to get a tattoo but I dont know what or where. since I only have one of my sons footprints I was thinking of having each of my sons footprints but a halo and wings on his and their name above each one. But I dont know where I would get this and I have three sons so its not an even number. My husband has a tattoo its praying hands with R.I.P. on the cuff and his name and his birth/passing date.
