Hi, everyone. I was wondering if you included your angel baby in the birth annoucement for your new child and how you worded it. I am expecting another child. She isn't due until September but this just popped into my head last night. I know birth annoucements in newspapers usually include siblings but I've never seen one with a deceased sibling and I'm not really sure what to say.
Thank you. :)

I've seen many obituaries with "preceded in death by" or "joining in Heaven..."
So it wouldn't be all that weird at all.

I don't think it would be weird to include your angel in a birth announcement in the paper. He is still a part of your family. I don't know if it is "conventional" or not, but who cares? Do what you feel is right for your family and for your angel. DO what feels good, and don't worry about anything else. You could even use words that others wouldn't "get" if they didn't know your angel had passed, like "new sister of angel Jacob" or "Jacob, heavenly big brother to ___" or something.
I guess my point is, I don't think it's wrong, and I think you should do what is right for YOU!! Take care,

I agree with Beth, do what feels right for you!
I plan on including Kaydence when we do our new dd's birth announcement, but i've also included her in all our other cards etc. as well......
Good luck with your pregnancy!
