when we lost out son, my mother in law put it in the paper and i dont even remember reading and honstley i was put on some much meds, i dont remember anything, i cry when i look at the pitures because i dont even remember holding him. i fill soo gulity. what i am trying to ask is, how and or where do i go to get a copy of the newspaper? i live ion sarasota, fl but i had my son in tampa!! i know i have a copy, but its in a storage box at my mother in laws in a speical place and i just want another copy without going though the box aigan! i am not ready yet, every time i try, i just cant do it, may i doing something wrong?? heather

You should be able to just call the paper and they will have an archive issue . . . you might not be able to get the entire paper but should be able to get your son's notice. Just be sure that you explain your situation and I am sure that someone will want to help to help you. Also check with your local library, some still keep microfiche files of newspapers and now may store them in digital form and even if they don't they may know who exactly to contact at the paper . . .
You are not doing anything wrong . . you are grieving and there is no right or wrong method for that nor is there a timeline that says "Now you must stop" . . .
It seems that wanting to have that paper so that you can look at it whenever you want is a very healthy and normal thing . . . not wanting to dig through a box of things you are not ready to see seems like a normal thing too. Only you can be the one to know when you are ready to do something like that.
