Please, please take a moment to send a little prayer up to God that I wll get better soon and that my virus or whatever it is will have no affect on my pregnancy. I'm so scared because I've had a fever for three days now, horrible cough, etc. and it isn't yet letting up. I was sick not quite this bad during my1st pregnancy when I miscarried and although I was reassured that one had nothing to do with the other, I can't get it out of my head.

Have you seen your doctor?

I've called the Dr. twice. They are a bit on the fence because my fever isn't too high, just consistent. They ended up saying to just wait until Monday since I have an appointment then for my first ultrasound.

I think I'm going to the urgent care today to see what they say - I used to get Bronchitis easily so I want to at least rule that out.

Beth, when I was 29 weeks with Mason I got the Influenza B and was hospitalized for 3 days the flu lasted about 10 days. My pulse was 120 for days, Mason's was over 200 for days too...they thought maybe I had a blood cloughts so the injected me with dye and I had a scan...all in all I finally kicked it and lil' Mason was fine. Please try not to worry the doctor's are right. It does suck and I know you are misserabe right now, just drink lots of water and rest, rest, rest till it passes.

The verdict is bronchitis with ear infections. They have me on antibiotics, and I'll hopefully be feeling a little better soon. I can hope. I have an appointment tomorrow for my 1st US, so hopefully no bad news there. Thanks everyone.

Beth,
I'm glad you went to the Doctor. I'll be praying the antibiotics clear everything up, and also that the U/S goes great tomorrow!

Well, I'm starting the upswing, I think. Still coughing a lot, but my head is clearer and I am actually able to get up off the couch a bit. Went to the doctor today, and so far so good - we did an ultrasound, and everything looks OK so far. In one week I will be 6 1/2 weeks and I will get to see the heartbeat!!

I am sorry that you're feeling yucky! I have had a sinus infection or head cold for about the last month and a half to two months!! I keep taking my temperature and calling my doc too, dont feel bad. They actually are seeing me every two weeks now,not cause they think anything is wrong with the baby but to keep me calm.SO far all is well.I am measuring about 1 1/2 weeks bigger than I am ,but I did with my daughter too. So hopefully he is just going to be a big baby also. They told me to take Sudafed, but I am been trying to suck it up and not take anythign unless I really have too!!! I hope that you get to feeling 100% soon, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,Amber
