We had it written in our service folders for the funeral, told family, had the pastor announce it... If you have an obituary printed, you can have it in there as well. We also sent it out in the e-mail that we sent letting all of our family, friends and co-workers know. Some people will still send flowers and some people will give a memorial to another fund or group but many will follow your wishes. We had a number of people just give cash or checks made out to us also, we then made the donation to NILMDTS.
