We have a heartbeat!

Well, we had our 2nd ultrasound today, and the doc saw the heartbeat right away, as soon as he started the scan! Thank God he didn't have to search for it like last time. It was so lovely to see - that little flutter. My OB is right across the hall from my fertility doc so I went there and made our first appointment. He's seeing me early - in just a couple of weeks. And he will do another scan; we'll be able to see our cute little alien looking baby! I can't wait, but also, soooo scared still. Like before we saw a heartbeat, losing it would be easier because I would know it never really had that "life" but now, the stakes are raised...

Anyway just thought I'd let you all know! Thanks for all of your prayers!

They didn't say how fast the heartbeat was - I think at this point they were just hoping to see one. My first pregnancy was a miscarriage and it was at this same appointment that we did NOT see the heartbeat and knew for sure I was going to miscarry. I think for me, just seeing was plenty - I didn't even think to ask!

Well I bet you were happy I knew I was after my scare. I didn't ask her she did all the measuring and just told me. Mine was 160 and thats the same as my daughters my sons were both in the 144 and 139 and thats why I think I am having another girl. Good luck girl.
