Halfway through the story there are links and if you click "Lauren McNabb reports" you will see the video broadcast on Global National.
I also wanted to post a letter addressed to Heather about the work she is doing in Canada with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep:
Dear Heather,
A friend of mine recently gave me the article on the "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" program from last Sunday's Toronto Star. That's where I read about you.
Today is the anniversary of my infant son's death and I saw it fitting to write to you and thank you as a parent for what you are contributing to this wonderful sounding program. I so wish it had been in place for me when I was going through the pain of watching my son leave this world. Because his life was so short (two days), we have no pictures to remember him by, and that gnaws constantly at my heart. His twin brother, who was also extremely ill, managed to pull through and is my healthy miracle today. I am so blessed by him and his older brother.
Just before I saw your article, I decided that every day on my birthday I would like to have new pictures taken of myself and my sons. As you can imagine, photos have come to mean a lot to me.
Thank you Heather for giving of yourself to help these parents who want and need to honour this special blessing in their lives. Your photograpy is so beautifully done and what you have captured is exquisite.
I applaud you.
Pam
